A. Harris Basali, MD
Medical Director

Dr. A. Harris Basali has been providing high-quality pain management in Ohio since 1999.

In 1992, he joined the Cleveland Clinic, where he completed his internship, residency, fellowship in pain management, and research fellowship. Since 1999, He has been recognized for being an international speaker and for his numerous research accomplishments. Dr. Basali has also served as the Director of Pain Management for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Lorain and as a preceptor for the Pain Management Residency Program at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.

  • 30 years of experience in anesthesia and pain management
  • Performed over 70,000 interventional pain procedures throughout his career

Dr. Basali opened the Pain Management Institute in Wooster, Ohio, in 2008. He provides patients with expert quality care using the most current treatment methods and the latest technology while caring for his individual patients’ needs as well in this state-of-the-art facility.

Nicholas Prayson, MD

 

Dr. Nicholas Prayson completed his undergraduate education at Case Western Reserve University with many honors including, Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He completed his medical school training at Case Western Reserve University before going on to complete his residency in Anesthesiology, followed by Pain Medicine fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He joined the staff of the Wooster Pain Institute in 2023 and is the Director of Medical Operations.

During medical school, he taught anatomy and further built upon his interest in research. He has over a dozen publications and presentations. He has worked with the Cleveland Clinic innovations department on multiple innovations within the medical and healthcare space.

He has a wonderful wife and new son who are his greatest gifts. He loves to spend his time outdoors, cooking, hiking, traveling and playing tennis.
